১৯৯৫ সালের একটি বিবাহনুষ্ঠানে নববধূর পরনে যে সিল্ক বেনারসিটি নজর কেড়েছিল তৎকালীন বঙ্গসমাজে, সে শাড়ি থেকে অনুপ্রাণিত হয়েছে এই সুতির টাঙ্গাইল বেনারসি। বাহ্যিক চাকচিক্য মুছে শাড়ির বয়ানে আলোকিত হলো একটি সত্য ঘটনা। সম্পূর্ণ হ্যান্ডলুম, ১০০ শতাংশ সুতির ও ৯২X৯২ কাউন্টের এই টাঙ্গাইল শাড়ির নকশাকার শ্যাম বিশ্বাস।
This cotton Tangail Banarasi saree draws inspiration from the silk Banarasi saree worn by a bride during a wedding ceremony in 1995, which captured the attention of Bengal society. Departing from the typical glossy sarees worn by brides, this saree carries its own unique narrative. Woven entirely by handloom, this pure cotton (100%) saree with a 92x92 count has been designed by Shyam Biswas.
