কাঠে খোদাই করা এই হাতির ভাস্কর্যে স্বাভাবিক অবয়ব, যত্নসহকারে ফুটিয়ে তোলা শারীরিক গঠন এবং সাবলীল বক্ররেখার মধ্য দিয়ে প্রকাশ পেয়েছে প্রাণীটির নীরব শক্তি ও স্বতন্ত্র উপস্থিতি। পৃষ্ঠের বুনট ও গড়নের মেলবন্ধন ভাস্কর্যটিতে এনেছে গতি ও দৃঢ়তার অনুভূতি। কাঠের নিজস্ব বৈশিষ্ট্যও এখানে অবয়বটির অভিব্যক্তি গড়ে তুলতে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ভূমিকা নিয়েছে।
