Sculptor- Alakananda Sengupta
In Lojja, the female form emerges as an arresting study of vulnerability and defiance. The figure's guarded posture, protruding tongue and hibiscus garland create a striking interplay between restraint and confrontation. Rendered in deep black, the sculpture holds an unsettling presence, inviting reflection on the complex relationship between the body, shame and the gaze of society.
