8 ( Eight) pieces of exquisitely designed and hand-crafted wooden dolls by Uday Deb inspired by the characters of the iconic film Gupi Gayen Bagha Bayen by legendary filmmaker Satyajit Ray.

Uday Deb is a nationally reputed cartoon artist with a strong passion to also hand-craft wooden dolls. Each of the series he makes has his own unique interpretation of the characters he is inspired by.

In this combined series of eight popular characters from the Bengali film, he has crafted the characters of Gupi Gayen the singer, Bagha Bayen the Percussionist, the Kings of Halla, and Shundi, Minister, the King of ghosts (Bhooter Raja) and the Dhol Percussion.
