উপেন্দ্রকিশোর রায়চৌধুরীর টুনটুনির গল্প
ঊনবিংশ ও বিংশ শতকের শিশু সাহিত্য যাদের হাত ধরে পুনর্গঠিত হয়েছিল, তার মধ্যে অন্যতম হলেন উপেন্দ্রকিশোর রায়চৌধুরী। বাংলার চিরন্তন লোকগাথাগুলোকে একত্রিত করে ১৯১৩ সালে উপেন্দ্রকিশোর রায়চৌধুরী প্রকাশ করলেন ‘টুনটুনির বই’। বাংলা শিশু সাহিত্যের সেই অসামান্য সৃষ্টির প্রতি শ্রদ্ধা জানিয়ে, দশটি বাছাই গল্প নিয়ে, নতুন মোড়কে ‘টুনটুনির গল্প’ প্রকাশ করেছে ‘লিটল হিউমার ইংক’। ছবি: উদয় দেব।
Among those who played a significant role in shaping and rebuilding Bengali children’s literature during the 19th and 20th centuries was Upendrakishore Ray Chowdhury. Bringing together Bengal’s timeless folk tales, Upendrakishore Ray Chowdhury published TuntunirBoi in 1913.As a tribute to this remarkable work of Bengali children’s literature, Little Humour Ink has published TuntunirGolpo, featuring ten carefully selected stories in a new format and presentation.
